Hi There! I’m Angela Palladino. I make commercials, TV SHOWS, AND FILMS. And Comedy.

That Sounds Like A Lot. Let me explain…

I’m A Filmmaker.
THAT MEANS: WRITER, DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER. A FUNNY ONE.

I specialize in comedy and communication. My aim is to make the boring parts funny, and the complex bits understandable. No matter the brief, I believe that work is only engaging when it is undeniable. I always challenge myself to bring humor and heart into the creative process, and I’m known for turning ideas into reality as soon as I hear the word “go.”

Over the last 15 years I have: Directed broadcast commercials that aired in major markets; Directed a stand-up comedy special for Comedy Central; Written and Produced television specials for Discovery ID; Executive Produced global campaigns for Coca-Cola across traditional video, AR, VR, and the metaverse; and Directed and Produced a slew of digital content that’s resulted in hundreds of millions of views.

I recently wrapped a year-long season as Story Producer for Strange and Unexplained, a true crime and high strangeness podcast with a comedic voice that consistently ranked in the Top 100 for its category on the podcast charts. I’ve also Written for multiple series on the History Channel / A+E digital platforms, Produced segments for a late night show streaming on Hulu, and Served as Supervising Producer for a number of comedy streaming series on the Airtime app, where I developed a slate of programming that dramatically increased viewership.

I’m comfortable working in partnership with agencies, production houses or studios, and am also happy to work directly with brands and talent through my production company New Fiction.

My client list includes: Hulu, Warner Bros. Discovery, A&E Networks, Coca-Cola, Danone, JP Morgan, Microsoft, and more. I’m also proud to have worked with teams on Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning films. My work has been recognized at Sundance, Cannes, The One Show, New York Comedy Festival, New York Television Festival, Independent TV Festival, and LA Comedy Festival, among others.

As for my comedy background, I honed my craft in New York’s stand-up and sketch comedy scene for over a decade, where I wrote, produced and performed in hundreds of live shows and comedy videos during that time. I formerly hosted Walt at Union Hall, and am an alum of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCB), The PIT’s BoogieManja, and Improvised 30 Rock. I cut my teeth creating an unfathomable amount of comedy video content for digital media sites like Funny or Die, Nerdist, Elite Daily, The Tylt. Now I use those skills to make much bigger things!
